Land's End 3-301 Bay Front - Premier

Pros: Condo was clean and spacious. Beautiful view of the bay. Cons: Condo is dated, expected it to be updated for the cost (spring break) which was $3,500 for the week. The master bathroom shower and toilet area is very small. The dishwasher has standing, dirty water in it. We decided not to use it. The biggest disappointment was the way the staff treated our high school baseball boys while using the hot tub and pool. Several parents witnessed them being yelled at by multiple staff members. Especially a male employee putting his finger in a 12 year old boy's face. This kid is polite and mild mannered and simply used the hot tub when he got out of the pool on a cool night while with his father. Tossing and catching a wiffleball also upset the staff. If you won't let kids have a little fun, don't let families rent your condos.

We were thrilled with this condo which had a very spacious and homey feel. Beautiful decorated, very clean, updated, tons of amentities inside and outside. The staff at guardshack was always kind and helpful. The beach is beautiful and private. Grounds are well manicured. They are quickly recovered/recovering from hurricane. The only suprise was the extra cost for parking a car here and the $10 per day for each visitor. We have family in the area and that became an issue for us. Would have been nice to know that upfront. Overwell, we will definitely stay here again, just a perfect stay!

I am giving 4 stars because the resort itself is lovely, however we were not pleased with the management company. We arrived around 6pm on Friday but no one was at the guard gate to obtain the parking pass. We had received SEVERAL notices stating our car would be towed without one, so we called immediately to see what we should do. No one returned that call until the following Monday. Thankfully the person at the gate returned later that evening when we were leaving for dinner. There were issues with the cleanliness in the kitchen, mostly due to the dishwasher not working. Food was still left on the bottom of the dishwasher, even though someone had put away the dishes. I don't know how you could miss the food, and not be alerted that the dishes could not have been thoroughly cleaned. We even tried to re-wash dishes, but it made a horrendous noise, and food was still there after an entire cycle. I did notify them of that on Monday, and they just thanked me for letting them know. So, we could not use the dishwasher the entire week.I guess the most important disappointment was that the elevator was not working. I had noted from other reviews that it was out (to which they responded they would make sure future guests were made aware). I purposely wrote and asked, TWICE, before our trip whether it had been repaired. Both times that question was ignored, even though they answered my other questions. The person at the gate made it sound like they had just been notified of it, the owner had been there that day and was working on getting it up and running. The website says there could be "occasional outages". A resident later told us it had been out since the storm last year, so 5 months. I'm sorry, but this is a MAJOR concern that should be addressed up front BEFORE someone rents, and let them decide if this is do-able or not. This unit is on the 3rd floor, so very inconvenient for bringing luggage, groceries, etc. up and down, but more importantly, this might be physically impossible for some people to do. When I addressed this, they said they did respond to my emails. Yes, they did respond to other questions, but ignored the elevator issue. I had asked about there being only two chairs on the balcony, and was very appreciative to find on arrival that they added more seating. Thank you! We were very cordial, and did not make a fuss about any of the issues, but do wish they would have been addressed. We decided to just enjoy our time with friends in a beautiful location, and that is exactly what we did. The beach was wonderful and not crowded at all. The pool was very nice and clean, and everyone was very friendly.

Treasure Island was a Delightful place to visit and stay for a week.The condo was nicely decorated, comfortable , safe, and great views from all of the windows and balcony.

We had a great stay here. The pictures don’t really do it justice, it’s very spacious. We enjoyed being on the beach and there was so much to do- swimming in the large pool, playing pickleball and shuffleboard. The staff at the gate are friendly and helpful. We know there was a chance the elevator would not be working and booked anyway. It was a pain carrying our bags up but manageable. If you have mobility issues, you might want to call before booking to ensure the elevators have been fixed. They seemed to think of everything that one would need (bring your own beach towels).

My only complaint that I had was the fact that we never had hot water the entire time we were there - water was lukewarm at best. So if you require hot water, this may be an issue.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this exact condo. We have stayed at Lands End 6 times. The Condo's are great. Near the bay and the Ocean. We love grabbing our floats and LOTS of sunscreen and floating :) Locally there is some great restaurants and shopping. We also like going parasailing at Gators and jetskiing.

The coastal decor is so well done, the unit is well equipped and very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the big deck watching the watercraft and loved watching the dogs play in the edge of the waters with their owners. This corner unit does provide that extra room that is truly an advantage. We did have an issue with the TV's initially, however contacted rental resorts and they sent out a repairman to resolve the problem within a day of our request. We had great food at Sea Dogs, Caddy's, Crabby's, Foxy's, Captain Bills, Willy's. We also enjoyed going to the pier downtown St. Pete and having drinks and appetizers at Doc Fords. We love Treasure Island/St. Pete Beach and have been vacationing in this area for years. We highly recommend Lands End and would stay in Unit 301 again in the future. My only suggestions would be this unit could use a couple of more beach towels, and the ceiling fan in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. We will be back again in 2023!

Glad you liked the coastal décor, and it is well equipped and very clean. Great you like the corner unit with the advantage of extra room and larger balcony. We are glad you had the television problem fixed within a day from Resort Rentals. Sounds like you visited many fun restaurants in the area, and how fun to check out St. Petersburg new Pier. We do not require our owners to provide beach towels, so that is great they had some. We can certainly check the ceiling fan in the primary bedroom. We look forward to your next visit.

A very short walk takes you to the pool, hot tub and beach. Parking is so convenient. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need and both beds are VERY comfortable. Only thing that could be updated is the lighting in the master bath (too dim to put on makeup). This room even has three beach chairs and two beach "tables" in a closet to use. We made a great choice when we chose Building 3, #301.

Great meal at Caruso’s Italian Restaurant and the Grouper sandwich and peel and eat shrimp at Sea Hags were the best by far. If you want a good breakfast that’s not overpriced try La Croisette. Cute little place with good food and service. Definitely looking forward to returning for another vacation. This property is truly a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of all the touristy hotels along Treasure Island.

I have stayed at Lands End Condominium Complex at least 5 times. This is by far the best condo I have stayed in. We had a fantastic time. If you are looking for a low key vacation then this is the place for you. Buy a float or use one in the room (usually in the closet) and enjoy floating in the bay, pool or ocean. That is pretty much what I did :)

Beds were comfy and we have had units that face the ocean mostly but surprisingly this was my favorite view!! Only suggestions I can give is maybe have the owners put some plastic cups in there for taking “drinks” down to the pool and for when you have kids.

We ALL love it. The Condo I was in this year was Beautiful, on the Bay and with a view that was Unique. Beautiful decorations and a Kitchen equipped with everything you would ever need to cook with. The Beach is awesome and the Ocean there is such that you can most days swim short way to a Sand Bar or just float leisurely on your raft. We always have a Cookout at least 1 evening and with the grills and picnic tables and even a covered area, it was perfect.We are already planning our trip for next year. You can not beat Land's End Condos for the price and all of the amenities.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just spent a week in this unit and will definitely be back next year. It was equipped with everything we needed. It even had a couple of beach chairs and beach toys. Loved walking on the boardwalk in the AM and PM. Beds were very comfy too.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a very relaxing week here. This is our 5th stay in 10 years. We normally come every other year and we plan on coming back.
My wife spent a lot of time on the beach and I fished in the Bay right outside our room, and caught fish everyday. We both saw lots of dolphins and some manatees as well. We love this place.

We had a great trip!
