Land's End 9-404 Beach Front - Premier

Very well kept and maintained. Liked the availability of the pool and beach.

The property and room were great. Just lovely. The only thing that was off is that there were no spices, coffe filters etc. cupboards were totally bare. Also the paper towels were of THE cheapest quality … they worked but… also they gave 2 dishwasher pods only. When I called and asked mgt comp they said that’s it And we’d have to buy. So really 5star place, but these little things were half star. If it’s a high class place, and for what we pay, think the owner / mgt company can be classier. Also often there are beach towels. None. So we had to go out and buy. Again several little things which we’ve come to expect in places like this. I’d return, but bring coffee filters, towels, spices, cooking oil…and extra dishwashing pods.

We did enjoy our stay. Couple of items to note. Grab bars in bathrooms would be helpful. We will probably only stay in properties that meet that requirement going forward. (in our seventies) We were not given any of the wifi info. We did, however, find it from our last visit to this unit 9-404 last year in my old email. Now one final thing, the kingsized bed is in bad shape as to lumps and is not comfortable. It probably should be replaced. On a better note, the gate keepers were very attentive and pleasant.

Only thing to know before booking is that there is a $30 charge per car for parking and that was not disclosed until I booked the property. The views and laid back atmosphere of this resort and beach can not be beat! There were a few minor issues with the condo. The beds were pretty hard, the closet door was not functioning well, and the kitchen was not well stocked. But even with these issues, we would stay here again in a heart beat. We saw dolphins swim by the condo almost every day there. And the sunsets from this end of the beach are amazing! Must see!

They are not able to walk easily so this location offered them the chance to sit on the balcony to watch us down on the beach. The elevator was a huge help for them. With that they could also go for some short walks to watch my husband and I play shuffle board or fish. My husband and I loved the accessibility to the ocean waves at any hour of the day. We could hear the ocean waves all day and night from our room, which was unbelievably relaxing. Rather than engage in a lot of day trips we would just take a nice walk on the beach down to Caddy's Beach Bar to shop or grab a cold drink. For us, this low-key beach setting could not have been better...especially as COVID is still a concern in larger crowds. The unit itself was great. We had everything we needed. There were a couple of very small things (one burner on the stove didn't work and the kitchen faucet didn't swivel) but these quirks certainly didn't matter with everything else going so well. We did a major curbside haul using online ordering at a Walmart on our way into town and then just supplemented as needed with the conveniently located Publix about a mile away. Check in and out was a breeze! Up until now Florida was always a second choice, as we have loved the Virgin Islands so much. Florida is more reasonable so we have sometimes gone for that reason. Now that we have found Treasure Island and it's quaint feel and total access to the beach, we would put it right up there equal to USVI. We hope you like it as much as we did!

This building/unit is located VERY close to the pool and the beach access - we love it. The condo itself was fairly well-appointed, although there were a couple of things that needed a little bit of attention. However, none of these things made our lovely week at this wonderful property any less enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again. The views, the access, the location, all GREAT!
